As part of our holistic approach to community health, DTEHM Health Ministries has launched an agriculture empowerment project that is transforming lives in the Kasese region.
The project provides training in sustainable farming techniques, including the cultivation of medicinal herbs and plants used in DTEHM's natural health products. Participating families are learning to grow their own food while also contributing to the supply chain of herbal ingredients.
This dual approach addresses both food security and economic empowerment, giving families a sustainable source of income while supporting DTEHM's mission of accessible natural healthcare. Over 200 families have already enrolled in the program.
